Shout out to our friend Pam who lives in England who tells us that they're paying the equivalent of $16 per gallon for gas.

Whose brilliant idea was it to change the design of the caps on bottles of Coke products?

Does anyone else have his/her Christmas shopping done?

Usually we love eating at El Jefe's for lunch on Saturdays, and usually we get excellent service. Today was the exception. They do have the best chips in town, however.

Payless has flip flops on sale for $3 each--we're just saying...

So how long do you think it will take Congress to

a. do anything;
b. quit ticking us off;
c. enact the gas-price-reduction plan the democrats said they had before winning the majority;
d. realize that the light bulbs they mandated replace the incandescent bulb by 2012 are full of mercury and made in China;
e. do all of the above.

If global warming is real, why did the front of our house look like this in December of 2006? We live in the desert for crying out loud.

We found out today that an 8.5 ounce bag of Lindor Truffles holds two servings. Pay no attention to the serving-size information on the back of the bag.
