Okay, so it's not that big of a news story that Obama is turning out to be a liar. Seriously, who couldn't see that coming? Apparently everyone who voted for him. Whenever a politician is campaigning on change, but doesn't identify that change, people should question him and his motives. That didn't happen, though. We still hear people say, "Just give him a chance. He hasn't been in that long yet." How long do we give him before we have nothing left?
So you're probably wondering what lie Obama told? There's probably going to be several, but today we're going to focus on Obama's lie that he doesn't want bigger government. Has anyone seen his budget proposal? It's all about increasing the size of government. Here's an article further detailing this: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/mar/03/obama-lied-the-economy-died/
There are commercials right now in Nevada promoting Harry Reid. The commercials encourage Nevadans to call Reid's office and thank him for his work on behalf of Nevadans. We haven't done it yet, but we do intend to call the numbers -- except that we aren't going to thank him. We have a different message for Mr. Reid, and it includes encouraging him to pack his bags and move back to Searchlight. His kind of leadership is NOT what we need.
Americans United for Change are sponsoring these commercials. Americans United for Change also has a commercial that states that Washington Republicans just do what Rush Limbaugh tells them to do and that Americans should hold these Republicans responsible for their 'no' vote against the stimulus package. We would like to encourage people to contact Americans United for Change and let them know that we don't appreciate their commercials and we admire those Republicans who had the backbone to stand against a destructive spending plan.
