This Day Was A Home Run

Most people who know us know that we are huge baseball fans. One of the many items on our extremely long bucket list of places we want to see before we die is the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Great news!!! We were able to check that item off the list. We're not really sure how to describe it. 'Wonderful,' 'cool,' 'awesome,' are all good and appropriate descriptions, but it was also very different from what we were expecting. It was somewhat overwhelming because there was so much to see and read, but you can't stand in one place too long because other people are also trying to see and read. It was almost a sensory overload because we wanted pictures of everything, but then we were overwhelmed by trying to take pictures of everything.

It was also different from what we were expecting. We thought that the building would be more secluded, or, at least, more set apart from other buildings. That wasn't the case. It was just on the Main Street of Cooperstown -- one of several buildings on that street. It's also about 20 miles away from a highway, so, once again, we found ourselves traveling a two-lane country road to reach our destination.

But here's the best part. PICTURES!!!😍 (Sorry we can't caption every photo so you know exactly what you are looking at; there's a LOT to see. Just enjoy the history on this page. 😊)
