A couple of months ago, a caller to Glenn Beck's show told Glenn that he was checking out, no longer watching the news or being involved in what happens to America. The caller felt he had done everything right as a citizen by writing his representatives and staying tuned in to the political scene every day. But he now felt alone, that Washington wasn't listening to him and no other Americans were fighting with him. So he was checking out, turning off his TV, and letting the chips fall where they may.
Glenn begged him to not give up yet. Glenn also told him that he would prove to the caller that he's not alone. There are other Americans who want to fight, but don't know how to do it or where to go. Thus began Glenn's "We Surround Them" campaign, to remind people that Americans employ the government and the government answers to Americans, not the other way around.
On Friday, March 13, Glenn Beck will be hosting the "We Surround Them" special (a live program with an audience) on Fox News, 5:00 pm EST. People all over the country will be hosting parties to watch his special. We encourage everyone to take time to watch his show. If you can't watch it, then tape it. Join together with other disgruntled, angry Americans and let your representatives know that you are mad as hell and are not going to take it any more.
